This particular design was created in 1930 for world-renowned American architect Philip Johnson. A year later, in 1931, it was presented to the world and became part of a “Bachelor’s apartment” exhibit in Berlin. Also knows as “Couch 258,” the daybed has the same defining elegance as our other van der Rohe inspired pieces with its tufted panels. The Pavillion daybed is made from a solid dark wooden frame supported by two stainless steel bars on both edges and polished stainless steel legs. It is available in a variety of soft Italian leather color choices to lull you to sleep.
