How this is worked out
- Design fee uses your floor area times the rate for the chosen service level, scaled by project type. So rooms times room size times rate times project factor.
- Furnishings and fit out are estimated at £3,000 to £8,000 per room, scaled by the same project factor. These figures are indicative and depend heavily on your choices of furniture, joinery and finishes.
- The total range adds the design fee to the low and high furnishings figures. The per room average divides the midpoint of that range by the number of rooms.
- Figures exclude VAT, structural works, planning costs and any specialist trades.
